I apologize if this has been covered before, but nothing came up in a search of this forum. Are there any better years for the Evolution, or years best avoided?

Higher priced oil lasts longer so in the long it is worth the extra cost if it's run it for an extended period of time. Believe it or not some oils can safely go 25,000 miles between oil changes.20-50 full syn in all three boxes. Or what I use.
I've been using Mobil 1 15-50 cager oil in all 3 boxes for over 72,000 miles and its still running perfect. Funny thing, I've got friends buying high priced Amsoil and Mobil motorcycle oil 20-50 but they just don't seem to get it. I've more then proved what I use is more than enough oil.
I've got a little over 77,000 on now, I switched at 5,000 after my last dealer performed check up. I was going to have it made into a 88ci at 100,000 but now I just got to let er go, so I can prove to everyone their wasting there money on the higher priced overly bragged up oils their running! Heck, one guy never keeps his bikes long enough use full syn. I know of two Evo engines with over 100,00 on dealer oil changes using Harley 360 fossil oil. So why pay out for the higher priced overly advertised full synthetic oil.
