What year Sporster?

To put a 150/80 16 Dunlop and belt on my 89 I had to widen the swing arm one inch to 9 1/2 " to keep the wheels in line. I also had to make a wheel spacer so the belt would clear the tire. I forgot, actually that isn't correct. I was rubber mounting the motor at the same time using Dyna mounts in a custom frame and had to move the motor 5/8" to the right so everything, wheels, pulleys etc. would line up

If your swingarm is 8 1/2" wide inside you can do 150 mm 6.10" with a chain.

The late bikes come with a 150 wide tire and belt I think, so they would have motors moved to the right compared to earlier models too.

You can get off-set front pulleys/sprockets, but then your cover won't seat for a really funky look, but you would still need to get the swingarm widened.
