Does anyone know where banjo bolts received their name? Thanks.

BTW -- I've only seen that term when related to H-D bikes, nowhere else.

Actually it would be because the part of the brake line they bolt to the caliper or master cyclinder looks like a banjo.

I learned that term 30 years ago doing truck maintenance, and what LittleBear said is the reason for the name. :yes:

They're common...used in the aircraft industry for years.
