All of a sudden after a fill-up in a country gas station, my '02 TC88B ran hard, vibrated more, had no pulling power in top gear and just seemed to lack grunt. It needed a whole fist full of throtle to get moving in top gear. I can only put it down to dirty fuel or clogged jets.

Anyone else had ths problem and what is the best fix?

I had a similar bad gas experience on my 1984 FXR. The bike only ran if I had the choke engaged - drained the tank and emptied the fuel bowl - problem solved.

Drain the tank. Depending on your system, there may be a drain on the carburetor fuel bowl, drain plug, etc. You might run some gas tank "anti freeze" type cleaner to absorb any residual water, be sure to use only an amount appropriate for your gasoline volume.
