good evening,
I have an 07 RK custom with stage 1, Samson slip on drag pipes, and SERT for the heat on 2nd cylinder and stage 2-3 in the future All works well except for the pops etc, mech couldn't completely solve that. I was told if I put a threaded bolt through the pipe it may give me some back pressure calming the problem. Has anyone got any other suggestions?

Tnx

The way I know is to weld a washer onto a BOLT, parallel to the shaft. Use 2 nuts to secure between the pipe,( 1 nut inside, 1 outside). Then you can turn the washer and bolt asembly either "open" or "closed" to adjust the backpressure.

Additionally you can loosen the nuts and rotate the washer to suit your back pressure needs. From my understanding, if you set up the washer perpindicular to the pipe you will get better low end torque.
