I haven't noticed any posts regarding the back end of the V-Rod. To my eye the fender is way too high off the rear wheel. I suppose it's different when your on it but when you look at the bike just sitting there it just doesn't look sleek. I am think of putting Progressive 440 shocks on it too lower it a bit. Any suggestions?

Hi and Lo Rods

Here are two pics (one on this post and one on the next) showing the difference between the stock shocks and the Progressive 440's.
You kind of have to flick backward and forward between the two to really appreciate the difference. BTW this first bike is on the Fort Lauderdale Harley site - it's got 500 miles on it (I think) and has every piece of chrome imaginable on it. It was custom painted by a guy that does work for them and is for sale although they couldn't give an actual price - somewhere around $30,000 - $31,000. The bike looks awsome.

Hi and Lo Rods (part 2)

Here is the second pic although I noticed the first pic doesn't appear in my first reply - it just shows as an attachment that seems to have a problem downloading (Moderator - am I doing something wrong!!!!)
