A friend texted me this morning saying it was 11° where he lives. I watched the news this morning and saw where it is -1 in Chicago where another friend resides. My weather down on the coast of NC is 56 today after a rainstorm blew out some Florida heat yesterday. I was wearing short pants and clogs. Oh well 70 Monday they say.

I've been sick the for the last week. Of course it's been the nicest week all year and I should have been out riding here in Florida.

I hear the northeast has been getting slammed, yippee.

Next week I'm flying north; five days of snowmobiling in the great white north of Maine! It will be the first time in four years I've been disconnected. NO internet, NO phone.

three half empty bottles of hot sauce (different brands) in his
fridge, a pack of cigs he's trying to avoid on the end table and
some old porn mags in his dresser.
Don't need porno mags. I have a porno phone.

Well cool, Pops had a Pontiac Bonneville but I don't remember the year, he had the 455 in it and chrome wire hub caps and it was green on green.

My brother at 17 wrecked it right in front of the house, we and a car fool of friends was driving by looking to see if mom and pop were home, we was gonna par-tay if they wasn't. Jimbo drifted right into the next doors neighbors parked car, and guess what??? Mom and most defiantly POP big man himself was home. I was 12 and was back handed all the way in to the house and I wasn't even driving, lol I believe My brother ran in hopes to deal with Pop the next day, which went about the same for him lol.

Yup it belongs to my neighbor as it belonged to his father. The car hasn't been on the road for 10 yrs so I'm buying parts and he is doing the labor. I call Chris my neighbor, but I have known him since he was 11. Sometimes I still see that little boy in his cut off jeans and barefoot.

I feel like I am in Louisiana again. A few days of cold so it can warm up and rain for a week. I noticed the plum and pear tree has blossomed. It is going to be a another hot summer.

I live in the North country and 5 years from retirement and finding the winters too tough to deal with.. Thinking about moving south.. Sick of snow and 0 to minus temps.

Born in and lived in Oregon for over 50 years... Moved to Florida 7 1/2 years ago.... I don't miss the seasons.... Each area has its pro's and con's... WAY TOO many people in Florida ( and most do not know how to drive) and the summers are WAY TOO HOT and HUMID....
I like to pull up the winter weather for Eugene, OR ( where I am from) online, and chuckle at how cold and wet it is...
Everyone in Florida dislikes the snow birds, but I do believe they have the best of both worlds... Most I have spoken to do say having 2 homes gets real expensive though....
