Just curious if I can use a crank from a B motor in an A motor? I know the otherway around is not possible due to the couter balancers but if they are not used, will the crank fit in the case?

Looking for a stoker for an 06 A motor and found one for an 00-06 B motor.

nope. that B crank will still have the gear on it to run the balancers and won't fit inside of an A case.

The balancer gear and the inner bearing race need to be removed and replaced with the wider inner bearing race of the A motor which sets up the gap etc on the oil pump...........
