Interesting that in the article, he admits that the goal is to attract music lovers, as opposed to bikers. Sounds like they have maxed out on the camping business for biker's. The way to increase the business further is to go for the concert folks, regardless of any motorcycle interest.
You can't blame him for getting what he can. It's the next logical market. Sounds like "tens of thousands of people" will be coming in cars. Even more car traffic from 4-10pm......Not sure I like the sound of that.
Now I know what you old timer's mean by the rally is getting too big. How about some camping for $100 with some alley style entertainment?
The music isn't my favorite, but that's just my opinion. But seriously, are there that many people who like these has-been bands from 30 years ago? I guess it's possible?
