Can I get some feedback here? I've been looking at used trucks as a way to haul my bike without having to buy a trailer. But now I'm wondering if I should consider something like a cargo van. That way it would also be weatherproof. My bike is a Dyna Low Rider. Would I need a full size van or would an Astro or something like that do it? I'd probably have to have the floor sprayed with a bed liner and a wheel chock put in the front. Any suggestions or recommendations on brand, etc.? Thanks.

I have a 1999 Ford E-150 conversion van, Triton 5.7 L V-8, Harley Davidson model (paint design) by Kustom Creations Conversion in Florida. Built in ramp, 6 captains chairs, television, video, cd changer, sound system has separate controls per seat, inside winch, tie-down hooks built in, multi plugs and outlets and hookups. Extra tall roof so windshields are no problem, also easier to walk around in. I bought it a few years ago at 40,000 miles for $29,000. It now has 50,000 miles. My wife had visions of us taking the bike on vacations but at 12 miles to the gallon a round trip to Florida from Raleigh is $700 of gas so we didn't take it on many trips. Actually, only once from here to Chatanooga . Now she uses it just around town. You have to remove the back 2 seats to get the bike in. I'd like to sell it for $20,000.
