The pinion bushing is replaceable but would have to be reamed to size. I would buy a new OEM plate since I have seen and heard on the internet that there are cam chest cover clearance problems on some of the aftermarket cam plates that would require a bit of grinding. One thing leads to another.
Interesting topic to me.

I am waiting on a Feuling Cam Plate Support and it has NO pinion shaft bushing!

I am also installing their oil pump and lifters.

Wondering if I should use my Baisley Spring with the cam plate?

OH well. just having fun and see what happens when Dynatherapy and I start spinning wrenches.

and yes I am !drunk!

I looked at the Vulcans and even bought one........then I talked with HDWRENCH and he told me to "use it as a book end". He said they were trouble. So I bought a Delkron and the Vulcan one is out in the garage somewhere.......oh wait, I am using it as a book end.
When it comes to tolorances I really have to say you are going to get what you pay for. LAF I do not think the lifter will work, I have tried them a few times on the big sticks. BE SURE to check the clearance on the lifter body and the cam lobe. I think they (fueling) makes a statement that they may not work with steep ramps. ( that would be your cam HA HA ) Check it out and please let us know. By the way, seems some one made a post about you on the 106 post%[email protected] but you know that you h ave thick skin you can take it :265: and of course when it comes to bagger racing you are THE MAN:bowdwn:

WOW what a mood I am in LOL need more coffee or something Not sure . GIve me a call on the lifters ,....later
Hmmmm
Feuling lifters are sold by Delphi and are the same body as the HD "B" lifter. The AMS is made by Johnson and is a revamped version of the old "A" lifter. Have not seen the ramp hitting including useing TW400g cams with either.
Well I have the new and old version of the lifter here and a set of fueling and they are different. Not saying that they are not made by delphi but compaines will spec out a certain items to there wants. I have seen them hit, on several occasions and there was a post here and tech talk that was disscussing the issue where people where having noise in the cam chest only to find the the lifter body was hitting. I know that the new lifters I use will not hit and they offer more clearance in that area. Just a heads up to my friend Lee.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but who is making Feuling lifters? I understand that they are back into production again, along with the oil pumps. But are the lifters made by these people, or have they been farmed out to a common production source?
Thanks HDWRENCH for the heads up.

Talked to GRock and he said that they have changed the body on the lifters.

No worries as if it even looks a little suspect I will use the Cranes that I just got from you and take them apart, clean, inspect, and put them back together and use them.

Not worried about anyones opinion of me or my bike. I own it and will do as I please. The title is framed and on my living room wall. So until their name is on it, they can kiss my grits.
