Has anyone put bigger rubber on a 93 era FLH ? I`ve seen the Pingel spacer, it`s for 2000 up. I`d like to get up around 150 or so. Local indy guy says he don`t think so, without work. Can anyone help ? Thanx, Don.

Don,

I found that Cycle Visions makes a spacer for 84-99 wheels. Drag Specialties part number: 1201-0054.

Hope this helps - I don't know of anyone that has used this part.

I smoked a "fatty" on my old bagger, oh you mean tire.
seriously a 140 is the biggest you can go with out work.
By work, you mean the spacer- right ? As far as the 1st comment; I know what ya mean ! I once rode my rigid 59XLCH home from the bar carrying a full pitcher of Busch. Made it home with most of the beer. :hystria:

yes, a 140 will go on with no spacers. On the back side of the drive belt gaurd is a felt scraper pad that's riveted on, you might have to remove that pad if it rubs, and your bothered by it. Won't hurt anything, just will leave some witness marks on the sidewall. I ran a 140 on my '93 bagger for years.
