Would buy another one in a heartbeat, even after what happened to my 1st engine. I will most likely buy another in a couple of years, or some variation that H-D comes out with, and use this one for experimenting, supercharging etc.

Given the chance to choose again, would you still pick the VR? - I did meet a guy once at rally, that really didn't like his new VR, so I'm wondering is there anyone here who doesn't think they made the right choice?

Harley suspensions are notoriously poor compared to others, try progressive suspension springs/shocks.
The brakes are as good as, if not better than the brakes on any scooter. Antilock brakes are a marketing gimmick.
Saddle bags, well, buy what look good and you like.
