Hey all,
Just bought an 01 Dyna Wide Glide tonight. I'll be picking her up tomorrow. Not too much riding time left up in these parts, but I that's why I think the price was right. Looking forward to reading a bunch and using the search function before I come on and ask too many dumb questions.

Haven't picked it up yet. The plan is to get it this afternoon.
Any advice on what to look for other than the usual stuff: tires, brakes, rotors, belt condition, leaks, color/smell of oil etc.
I'm buying it from a lady in her 50's. She's got all the paper work on the service that has been done to it. Looks to be a real clean ride, sounds good and strong.

sorry can't help ya on what to watch out for considering the bike. I've always bought from a dealer so had assumed they took care of what was needed before the sale.

I've read other people say to bring it to a indy or dealer and have them check it over good.
