Could be just a Flook
The "deletion" problem could be just a flook. Sometimes weird things happen with posts. On ALL boards. From what I've been able to observe on other boards/forums/sites/, an offensive post usually gets you a private message from the operator/admin./owner and you'll know if you're being censored. Some sites are more "open" than others. Some sites permit profanity. Others do not. This one seems pretty straight, which if you know upfront you can deal with. By the site name, it gives the impression of being an "official" site which would for good business purposes not be able to tolerate a lot of offensive comments. I've read in the FAQ's that the system has an automatic editing (read that as "censoreship") of "certain" words (read that as being politically correct). Some direct mail forums, like the Harley e-mail Digest (HED) for example, intentionally place offensive terminology at the end of each digest to cause corporate censoreship software to reject the incoming mailing.
That being said, I'll specifically address your concern about censoreship. I've been to this site for the last several days and looked at the posts. I've seen yours. Didn't read anything that I believed was so offensive as to warrant deletion. Indeed, I posted a message complaining about a local dealership overcharging for a bike. I "censored" myself by using the cute little **** marks for the term I believe accurately described the dealer involved. Nothing happened to my post. So, for what it's worth, I think you've just experienced one of those weird things that happens. Don't be too concerned about it.
