Hello All
just purchased my first touring HD, so no experience of the pressure settings
for the suspension. I am a "trim" 200 Ibs no pax or extra loads. Any ideas please guys of where to start on the pressures.
thanks

4 psi solo, 8 psi two up.

Don't use a compressor!

HD sells a special pump for the air shocks.

Pretty sure it is listed in the manual.
Check your owners manual.

I *think* the default value is 4-6 psi and add 1 psi for every 25 lbs over 150.

Welcome aboard!
air shocks RK

Thanks, the pressure at the moment is set at 10-12. I will try the lower settings.:beer4u:

the h-d air gauge for shocks is a must....If you plan on keeping those shocks you have to get one.....if you use a regular pump say to 15lbs....everytime you check it with a tire guage you may lose 2-3 or more lbs or air........Its alot when you are only running 5-10psi.....my.02....
On my '03 RK 10-12 lbs felt about right. On my '05 RK I have a 1 1/4" lowering kit and 25lbs feels right. Go figure.
You got to check them every couple weeks. I run 8lbs, with passenger. But it would probably be better to start with recommendations and then play with it.
