Here's my prob with my 88 XLH-1200,
She runs lean in both cylinders, Correct jets installed, although I tossed the original card and installed a new 1996 Heritage card and flipped the jets over. The original carb did not have an accelerator pump, major bummer.
I've changed the mainfold seals twice, it will run fine for a day,then back to irractic performance
Sometimes will run fine when cold then lose power when hot,
Othertimes will run poorly cold, low power then she'll bogg and cut in full power.
I'm suspecting that the intake manifold may be the wrong one as there seems to be significant slack between the heads.
If not then the HD seals just don't work for me, is there an aftermarket set up with better seals,

This is driving me to drink!!!!

I want to thank all you readers out there for your help and suggestions.
Turns out the A-H who had the scooter B4 me installed an intake manifold from a 1340, sometimes the rubbers would seal, othertimes not.

Regardless, thanks for the replies.
