Hey, anyone found a decent supplier of any aftermarket stuff yet? I've done tons of searches on the web but it seems to be limited to a piece here and a piece there. Any help? Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome Tony!

And thanks for the link. Those guys are doing some pretty cool stuff. Those fat rear tires look great. I've sure got a long way to go before my bike looks like those on the site, but hey, getting there is half the fun!

You may want to look at Kuryakyn's web site: http://www.kuryakyn.com/harley_home.asp
They don't have a page specifically for the V-Rod, but some of the items will work. For example, on my V-Rod I have their ISO grips, Ellipse mirrors, ISO wing mini-boards, ISO pegs, NEO-Strip lighting & full dresser bag. A lot of their other stuff (engine cover, transmission cover, tank & dash items, etc) won't work on a V-Rod. Also their hand controls don't work on V-Rod's hydraulic clutch, but they hope to release some next year that will work. And they are developing some V-Rod specific items, like a new piece to replace the black plastic on the rear end. But most of their grips, pegs, mirrors & accent lighting will work on a V-Rod.

Another good one is Performance Machine
http://www.performance-machine.com/
The V-Rod specific page is
http://www.performance-machine.com/vrod/v-rod-base.htm
They have wheels, brakes, pulleys & hand controls. In Jan 03 they will add new foot controls and a new wheel design.

For the least expensive wheel solution, Rowe Performance can cut designs into existing wheels. But currently, only the Sprint, Turbo & Hurricane work on the V-Rod wheel. http://www.roweperformance.com/stockwheelthumbs.html

Get the December 2002 issue of Hot Bike Magazine and look at page 160 (Ask Arlen). The article says Arlen Ness will have a new headlight, lowering kit & wheel hub for the V-Rod.

Also look at Eurocomponents http://www.eurocomponentsusa.com/vr.html
They have several V-Rod specific items, plus some trick looking mirrors on the mirrors page. http://www.eurocomponentsusa.com/mirrors.html

For seats & hard bags, check out http://www.corbin.com/harley/vrsca/
