I have an 18 limited and want to add the CB to it, but not for $800 dealer cost. I have researched a ton and I would like to know if anyone has added the old CB (2006-2013) to a new bike 17+. If I can post these two example CB that Harley sells, they look identical. One is the old model and the other is their new Bike-Bike-Communication). Has anyone tried the old one in the new model bikes. It looks to me that their exactly the same in appearance and part numbers. I can't post the picture of the new one , this is a used one, but they are identical.

btw there are helmet mounted talkies(complete unit) now...for less cost even....we had some way back wen.... the only drawback was the weight(lbs) of em over a long ride...now i think their smaller and lighter units availible but short comm distance only tho....so cb and headset don't sound so bad...the units might be the same but chk pinout differences/plugs...there might be a bunch on ebay too.
