This bike showed up somewhere in the Austrian Alps, the guy seems to be original owner, but the bike is much older than he is........
It was never restored, ridden for the most part of its life (except WWII to escape confiscation) and the owner has no intention to sell, restore or do anything other than riding and repairing the old bike. I have no idea which model or year, it appears to be a mid 20' JD, but what do I know about these old beauties.

Enjoy this old piece of American iron

Looks like Santa got rid of the riendear and lost some weight in the process... :)

Wonder how many times that odometer has rolled over. My favorite pic is the one of the battery instructions. :-D

Am I the only one who doesn't think it's beautiful? I really don't like bikes in bad condition, old or new. The newer Harleys are much more beautiful in my eyes.

Santa's cool though. :)

I hope people look at me someday like that on my 01. I also hope I leave as long as that guy.

That's pretty darn neat to see something like that.
I like the old oil can strapped to the side. It looks "original" too.

Thanks for posting the pics!

Fukin sweet. It's in very good shape. I don't blame the old guy for not wanting to get rid of it.
