Check the breather fitting on the rear of the crankcase just inboard of the oil pump, is there enough room or will it hit something?
91 FXR engine swapped into a 97 Road King
I just bought a 97 Road King that needed an engine. I ended up finding a 91 FXR engine to swap. I pulled my motor out of the road king and noticed the mounting for the oil filter housing / other parts were different. What’s the difference between these to motors? Is there a lot involved in making it work?

It looks like I have to reroute the oil filter housing to the rear. There isn’t any mounting holes in the frontWell, @Passthapookie are you still participating in this discussion?
