Hello,

I read the Clymer's manual for my 75' XLCH Sportster, and it says there are 3 adjustment settings for the rear shocks - however, they do not tell ya how to make the adjustment.

Can anyone help me out?

In advance, thanks!

xxxflhrci THX!

THX for the comment(s), after your post I took a closer look and noticed the (3) adjustment settings on the stock rear shock(s).

They are currently in the middle adjustment, and seem to be a little hard when riding - I am 6' 200 lbs, so perhaps the lighter setting might give a better feel.

While the bike is 30 years "young" with only 24K miles on it, it is near prestine, I am wondering what is the life of these rear shocks, or does it make sense to replace them with another 14" set of rear shocks?
