I looking for 49mm fork springs for a 06 Dyna. They switched from 41mm to 49mm this year. I am looking for a set to lower the front a bit so I can match my new lower rear shocks. Any info would be great!!!Thanks in advance...
If you knew for sure how far the sliders moved up the legs you could move the legs up into the trees some amount as long as the sliders never contacted the lower triple clamp.
The V-Rod fork also has the same 49 mm tubes, but the legs are exactly 1" sorter overall that the 06 49 mm Dyna fork. So in theory at least, the V-Rod spring should be somewhat shorter, how much, I don't know?
I'm looking at using the complete V-Rod legs along with it's 12 spoke cast rims for a shorter front end on my 06 too. I end up with dual disc's this way, another reason I want to do it. The trees are exactly the same width too, ditto for the axle.
