Hello, I am looking to replace my 42 Mikuni with a 45. My question is will it work with a stock 03 Manifold like the 42 does? Also, will it work with the Screamin Eagle AC assembly I currently have

No and yes.

It will not work with the 42 manifold, the opening is too small. Your current air cleaner setup will work.

S&S Super G manifold for the 45 with the adapter that goes on the Mikuni.

You can also run the HD S.E. Pro Big Bore Manifold. Part # 29635-99 it will take your 45 mikuni without using an adapter. price is $59.96 at Chicago Harley.

The best solution, IMo is the Hd manifold becasue the carb can be mounted without an adapter that pushes to carb 1/4" more into your leg.

Your input is appreciated. I came to the same conclusion as to not using the adapter.

Bob, from your experience what is the difference in power on a stout 95" going from a 42 to a 45 Mikuni?
