I figured the local stealer was up to his usual MO. I called Hales HD today & they're mailing me a catalog for no charge. I bought most of the parts for the Sportster project from them so I figured it was the least they could do.

According to my dealer, Red Oak, Iowa. They mail a catalog to all of their customers yearly (for free) as long as they are in their "district area". I am not in their area, so I pick on up for Free when I stop by. Their rules say they can not direct mail outside of their district. But anyway, it is free and if they want me to continue to buy stuff from them, this is the best way to keep business. Otherwise, I'll buy from some other free aftermarket catalog.

don't think that Sears, Penny's, Shopko and all the rest charge for their catalogs....do they?
