#37846-99a came on all 1999 HD EFI models and was first introduced in 1999 as per the "-" designator. It was used on 2000 and 2001 EFI models but no longer used in 2002 when all models got the 3.15 gearing.
To go to 3.37 gearing you also need P/N 40269-85A compensator nut which was used on all HD models through 1993 and then only on the later EFI models through 2001.
Little bear thanks for the imfo.i do already have the gearing in my 2006 street Glide and was just needing this imfo. thanks so much for the imfo and thanks to all . booggerbe

Little Bear, From all the info I have seen 2002 EFI bikes have the 3.15 gearing also. You may want to double check this. I have a 2002 an I am
considering this change. I haven't checked to see which gears are in it but it
sure doesn't feel like 3.37 gearing. At 70 m.p.h. my tach reads 3000 r.p.m.
Anyone with 3.37 know what theirs reads?

Thanks, Roy
I knew the minute I started stating years I would miss it. I was basing my info on what I read somewhere. Must have been incorrect. 2001 must have been the last year for 3.37 EFI bikes. Sorry guys.
Anybody with a 2001 parts book please confirm this.
Thanks.
