For years after my 1200 conversion I toyed with the idea of changing out my 27 tooth pulley to a 29 like everyone said to do, but I didn't want to lose the take off power that the 883 pulley gave me. I have made plans for a 2000 mile ride in march, and decided ( reluctantly ) to gear her up for the highway. I had no idea what to expect. Now, I have no idea what a dyno would have to say, but as far as "seat of the pants " goes, WOW! No loss of take off that I can see, if anything it's faster. I have yet to check my top end speed but when I do, I'll let ya know. Bottom line is, If anyone has doubts about doing this. it's well worth the price!
