Yep, being a RK guy myself I'd say the Toad has a fine Stool to plant his azz on to be sure. Versatile and has received good mods and proper tlc.
And then.... FLT Shovel owners time and effort to bring the FLT back to its former glory (and beyond), along with the end result, is much of what I considered. Shovel's are a piece of history.... hence, my vote.
That's why I entered it.This bike was on the wrong side of its life when I picked it up.I can only imagine its sketchy past.I was determined to make it truly road worthy again.Your recognition and vote just adds to the satisfaction that I have been rewarded with since getting this bike back up to snuff.
The wrenching was all done by me with only the head and cylinder machining farmed out.Not being a shop owner I don't have the equipment. It still retains most of the factory engine parts that were either reworked or replaced.I didn't just drop in a replacement crate engine or transmission.I invested my time, energy and sometimes grief to get this Genuine Harley Davidson engine, trans, and bike back together.
It gobbles up the miles effortlessly and never lets me down in spite of being 37 years old now.
Of course I'm bias when I say this. However, this bike deserves votes for ride of the month.
