Always heard the FXR's were Harley's answer to the UJM , or Universal Japanese Motorcycle. Undoubtedly the best handling Harley. The frame/fork was a direct knock-off of the Honda CB-F , Suzuki GS-E , Kawasaki KZ litre-bikes. Down to the side-flip seat. My cousin had an 84 or 85 FXRS-Sp , with superbike bend handlebars and air-adjustable dual-disc brakes. I had an 83 Suzuki GS-1100ES at the time. Handling was quite similar.

Thank goodness I showed up to vote and get in on this discussion! Whew....
Wait. What? You're back? Just in time to vote for an FXR?

I'm thinking there's some vote buying going on.

But since I'm an FXR owner, I know nothing.

Real Bikers make their ole ladies cut the grass. So they can find that missing half inch wrench that they chucked out there last weekend.
I like this one about finding wrenches, but the easy way is to just spray paint all the tools yellow. I still have a hammer and a few tools that belonged to my brother that are yellow or orange.

Yes, I agree .... so mowed or all natural?
I wasn't gonna go there, but since you mentioned it....

We all wonder how she keeps her yard.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to want to let me attache a picture, so you would just have to know that there would be no lawn at all in the picture of my FXR in my yard, the surface in question is completely bare.
