I just purchased new RG Ultra 2011 with the 103. I rode all weekend even in the cold just to break it in a little. I have heard a lite clanking only when I shut if off ( 1-2 times) Is this normal? I cannot remember hearing this in my 2005 RK or others.

Could it be the crank pinion??? It has to be a break in issue?? everything is seating. Never had a problem with any of my 10 bikes.

My 2011 RKC does it too when I shut it off, I think it may be the compastor kicking back, but not sure. It don't seem to matter if it's still in gear or not
