Do the new TC engines in the Dyna line suffer from the same case bearing problems as the post 2002 engines do? Would I be better off picking up a used 2002 or earlier bike if I want to install a 95" kit? Thanks

The crank bearings were changed to roller from tapered in 2003. this is a potential problem if your torque is approaching 130 lbs. For a 95" it's not a problem. Some people claim "insurance" or peace of mind but unless you are stroking it and the cases are open any way, I wouldn't and don't worry about it. Prior to 2003 is not a problem with the crank bearing but you might have a cam bearing problem if the timkin conversion was not done.
