I have had the bike on order for six weeks, two more to go. I am bone stock at present. Any suggestions on dealer adds before I roll away?

 I had a 00 RKC. What a bike! I went with a stage one and a set of V&H slip ons. This was a semi low cost option that provided a sweet sound and smooth power.

I just got my 2003 RKC and I put the K& M Filter, Sampson Rolled Thunder Exhaust & remapped the EFI...................

It's kick ass now ............

I also added a detachable back rest for the wife to be comfortable.

I already know the handlebars have got to be changed. Looks like the Heritage is the way to go.
They don't have to be changed. Apparently the vertically challenged appreciate having different bars. I assume the same goes for normal sized people with them little thalidomide arms:D

Just in sitting on the bike, the bars seem to upright. I think the bike sits about an inch to high.

I like the backrest, how is the factory seat?
