I picked up a set of sheet metal for my 2002 Fatboy to have a custom paint job done, and I wanted to save my original paint set. The set I picked up is for a 2001 Fatboy. I have noticed that some 2002 rear fenders have 2 holes at the rear portion of the fender (where the turnsignals mount to the strut) and some have 3 holes (these are the holes that are close together and are at the rear most part of the strut). I have also noticed this on 2001 model rear fenders - Anyone have any Ideas? Are 2001 and 2002 rear fenders supposed to be drilled the same?
