I just bought a 2001 Superglide with 34000 kms on it. It had been ridden all year round in Pacific Northwest area, including lots of rain and the owner was caught out in snow coming home a few times. Problem the wheels and engine are badly weathered....I tried a powerwash, degreaser spray and other cleaners with minimal success....the wheels are mag stlye rims .....would an aluminum cleaner work......any suggestions. Also, I also have some rusted bolt heads on engine cylinders etc....should I just replace them.....I don't know why Harley continues to source out some parts that lack quality....shouldn't all bolts , nuts, fasterners, etc be galvinized.....I have never seen this problem on a newer metric cruiser. Thanks for any suggestions in advance.
