I've never served, but have recently decided to start restoring a WWII era Harley WLA. I'm interested in collecting some stories about how these bikes were actually used in combat. Most of the folks who would have ridden one at this time are now 80+ years old. Perhaps some of you have heard stories passed down by a father, uncle or someone else you've come in contact with. I have a brother who's stationed at Ft. Lewis who's helping with some research. I'm looking for first person accounts - other websites or books, etc. Thanks in advance.

How about doing a google search for "motorcycles and WWI" and "motorcycles and WWII"?

I have an uncle that fits your inquiry. I called him to see if he'd mind me sharing some of his stories -- he said no. Our family always (we try) checks with each other first. He told me that what he told me was between him and I.
He suggested you try visiting some senior citizen establishments -- they'd appreciate the company / visit or some local VFW's
