i have a pair of Sportsters, a '71 900 and a '75.
both are apart because the frames needed straightening(the 75 had a bent neck and the rear was bent on the 71. the work was done by Nick's Cycle Salvage in NJ).
the 75 has a broken left case(i have a replacement). it was laid down and run into a curb. kick start only. the cylinders have been bored and i have new pistons. heads have fresh valve job and seals. front forks were bent but i have more.
the 71 was apparently hit in the oil tank and the rear was tweaked. frame straightened and replaced swingarm with a chrome one. electric start only. ran well when i bought it.
some extra parts in the pile too, including another frame.
the '71 has a clear title, the '75 has a PA salvage title, but i can get a clear one.
$3200 for all or trade for running bike.
