Here in a few hours I'm going to pick up a classic virago 750 I have never rode one and don't know anyone who has so tell me what is something I need to look out for or just not pay attention to it like don't like cold starts and that terrible starter noise

the starter had problems with those something wearing out and had a kit or ?...u shld be able to google it

I had a 920R. Replaced the starter because it failed. Not too hard of a deal. Found myself adjusting valves a lot though.

i think it was the mix of the eng case/bush/gear? that wore out not the starter...but could wear out the overloaded starter from missalignment/bungle too... but I could be wrong

Carburetor problems, dead spots..
When accelerating the rear of the bike raises, making it difficult to impossible to keep in the groove on twisty roads.
I have a friend,,, that is now a .millionaire parapalegic due to one of these...
