O6 DYNA - 113 SE Build - 300 miles total on bike to date - 200 since build. Dealer pulled bike apart feed gerotor section of pump blown. Close examination revealed burrs and excessive wearing on crankshaft at bearing surface for pump cover. Crank was 45 thousands out. The basic concensus is that this caused the pump to go. They clain there was no foreign material in engine. Does this explanation sound plausible ? Or, did the crank bend when the pump went.
Build is being completely done over at dealers expense - pistons - sleeves - roller rockers everything.
