Folks, I have an 96 FLSTC with the split gas tank and I'm entertaing the idea of replceing it with one gascap style tank. What I need to know is what can I look for that will match on the bolt on, petcock, instrument cluster, and such?
Is there another bike out there that I can look for the replacement tank that will not require mods. If mods are needed, a tank with the least mods.
Going on a trip in 6 weeks and don't want the hassle of taking 2 gascaps off everytime I gas up. If I can't find anything, then yea I'll keep my tank, obviously.
Any and all opinions are welcome.
