Just removed from a new 03 RK that was a dealer install.. Will be selling what Harley calls the Purple Splash Flame Set (Painted Body Parts) ie Front/Rear Fenders, Tank/Side Covers and Hard Bags... The paint set can be seen in the 03 Harley Catalog... Sorry I am unable to post pictures at this time... The paint set in the catalog is $4100.00.... I don't expect to get that price but would like a decent offer... Beautiful Paint set # 196 of 200... Just didn't work out for me... The wife thought it was too radical for my age group and also the fact that the paint job was drawing more attention from the girls then the standard paint colors.... which is true as many people would gather around the bike and praise it more then the standard color bikes.... No sure but I think the tank mounting is a little different..

I have read all the posts about this poor paint set...but never got off my ass to look up which one it was...........Thats a bad ass paint set...I wouldn't sell it, sell that black set and buy a solo seat. I am sorry to drag it back up......but I had tooo.. I am evil.

Jimmy, I think it is the fuel line differences from the MM to the delphi.

I too would keep it .02

The alien is right. It has to do with different EFI's. One or the other has an extra opening in the bottom o' the tank.

The parts dudes at the local stealer said it would fit, but you'd have to block off the extra orifice. But what do they know?

The tank does in fact have 2 holes in the bottom... 1 of the holes is blocked off with a bolt and "0" ring.. Guess alignment has something to do with it... Take a close look at the newer bikes for the fuel line and a plugged hole right behind it... What's the extra hole for? I dunno perhaps it may fit an 00....

Must have been a very late 00 after they changed to 'Delphi' EFI.
The early 00 MM EFI's have Two fuel lines, one feeding, one return.
The Delphi's only have one.
