Well, like most things I do, I just jumped in and did it. Got the old multimeter out and went to town. Since I wasn't worried retaining the function of my handlebar controls, all I wanted to find was 12VDC constant, 12VDC switched, and GND, which wasn't that hard. Now the good part. IT WORKS. I put in a Sirius ready JVC receiver, mostly because it has a front panel input, and the Polk DB525 speakers that seem to be pretty popular here on VTF. So, for $250 I now have a HOT stereo setup that blows the factory H-D system WAYYYY out of the water. I don't have to use an FM modulator for my iPod anymore, and I couldn't be happier. Even better, I didn't have to pay someone to do it. If anyone needs help, I'll try to offer all I can.
