Hi there. I'm new to this forum and harleys in general. My single front caliper is siezed on my 1988 FXRS and figured it would be a good time to upgrade to a better setup.
I have read through a number of threads on this site and see that you have answered in many of them. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am understanding that if i were to buy 2000 and later dyna/sportster fork leg sliders, I could use the later 4 piston brakes. All I would need would be the lowers, 2 calipers, the bigger rotors, and a matching master cylinder and all of this would be compatible with my current stock mag wheels and cable driven speedometer... Is this correct? Is this the "right" route?

    Thank you in advanced!

Yes, I did this with my 87 FXRC. It's a simple swap out. Use the 4 piston H-D calipers [from 00-07]. They're some of the best calipers Harley ever made and you can pick them up real cheap nowadays on Ebay. Send me a PM if you have any questions.
