Rear Brake light switch removal?

Is there a special socket to remove the rear brake light switch on a 02 Big twin? if so where can i get one? I'm putting forward control extensions on my bike and I have to swap the brake light switch over to the new longer brake line....

I don't think there is. I've always just used a wrench that fits or an adjustable one. Don't overtighten, it's a NPT thread.

A 12 point socket will fit, but its hard to get on because of the wire terminals. Although I hate using adjustable wrenches, this is one application that needs it. Don't forget to smear some teflon pipe dope on the threads before reinstalling the switch - or rear brake pressure will slowly bleed off. Do not use teflon tape.
