jml wants to know Dino or Syn?
anyone know the shovelhead service manual p/n?

I'm about to get my first shovel ('74 FX in transit (and in pieces), supposed to be here in a couple of days) and I'm trying to find a copy of the factory service manual. Google and eBay just lead me to a bunch of spammy links for bootleg PDF downloads, but I'd like an OEM copy (NOT Clymer or the like, the official H-D). Does anyone have one that they can get the part number off of so I can use that to search? If you have one in decent shape that you're actually willing to part with, that would be even better.

Awesome, thanks! I probably will pick up the parts catalog, I didn't realize how useful those things were until I started working on old Hondas and found out that their parts fiches are everywhere online. Ronnie's is the only H-D one that I know of, and it only goes back to '79.

This website has them to download free. Under fx,flh,fl.

Yes the site is in spanglish, but the manuals are in English. I downloaded and printed the ones I needed. Would be bad to download and print them all actually....
