Ultra Rear Brake Rotor

Replacing the rear brake rotor. The OEM part, or at least the part that was on the bike when I got it, has a button /disc in the middle of the rotor spokes.

Similar to what you see on a free floating rotor but this is a single button. The two front disks both have it also.

The new part has the correct part number but no button...? Other than that its identical.

Its a recently made part according to the date on the factory box.

Anyone know what function that little button has...?

What was the part number? And was it a MoCo part?

Checked with the dealer.

The "semi-floating disk" part is obsolete and superseded with a plain flat disk. Hence the "B" in the part number.

Little apprehensive about installing what seems like a downgrade but unless you can locate some NOS, the plain disk is all that's available (per dealer parts dept)

Not sure how important the button was, but I guess without prolly costs the MoCo less.

Try Biker Direct .com

I think they still have the single button rotors.
