Progressive front monotubes

Well, I finally changed out the 18" front to a 21" on my '07 SG. Didn't want to lower the front end and have a stiffer ride, thought I could deal with the change in steering geometry. I was wrong. The bike at low speed just felt "tippy" the front wheel felt like it wanted to flop over faster plus handling in the curves was diffferent. So, the decision was whether to save some $$$ and just do the normal 1" lowering or spend some more $$ and do the
1" lower mono shocks. Don't have many miles on it yet but the intitial verdict is, glad I did it! Handling is back and I gotta believe that the ride is even better than stock, at any rate the ride is quite good. I for one would say the extra dollars were well worth it to me.

I second that. It makes you wonder why HD couldn't come out with it stock. I'm running the 940's in the rear, also a big improvement over stock.
