It's "wet sumping" there is a check valve in your oil pump clean it out should be fine

There. Is a tool for pulling the plug. The head is slotted like a screw driver, but good luck getting it with a screw driver.
It has a he on one end to use a socket.on the other end it has a blade for the plug.
When you pull it there will be a spring under the plug.
Check ball is under spring
Use a clean magnet to pull ball.
Order the tool a o ring for the plug and a spring.
Sometimes spring gets weak and causes the leak.
Just did it on a buddies fxstc.

Put a pan under the open end of the hose when you start it, if it has been sitting for a while.

If it doesn`t do it all the time, I wouldn`t mess with it. Just ride it more often...

Ride that sommmbitch! haha

or fix the leaking check ball. Ive seen them fix with just a little slight polishing where the ball sits so it creates a seal again but if you go that far just get the new spring kit as well. Its probably $10.
