buffaloguy is reading this now saying WTF is this?
I have a 1992 Rolex Submariner that I have worn daily for 26 years, It has been in for maintence twice, the second time this year. It has always kept time and shows a little wear. That works out to less than $200 a year, and when I look at it I appreciate the work that I put in to own it.
Buy something well made, take care of it and it will last a lifetime.
It just isn't about knowing what time it is.

Love your enemies, it will make them crazy.

Been tempted a couple of times to buy a Submariner and maybe someday will. I don't wear watches much anymore unless it's a special occasion. I've sworn off worrying about the time unless it's absolutely necessary. I subscribe to the "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" philosophy.

I regret not buying a Rolex Chronograph in 1969 when they were $275. The sub I have now is worth almost twice what I paid for it in 1992 and the chorongraph would be X10.

Hmm, do you wear that watch 24/7, even when you sleep?

Hey Capt, I know I read you liked Goldwings and you might want a trike. Here is one on CL, don't know if it's fake, but maybe. https://baltimore.craigslist.org/mpo...827579194.html

It is a 1500, yes almost head snapping. First gear works just as well as an emergency brake here in the flat lands. This was grandma's bike as her husband has a UG. Her walls at home are lined with biker pictures from coast to coast trips. Poor lady beat cancer and didn't want to see the bike sit. As with 95% of the riders I see she looks like someones hip grandma, but never a biker.lol.

eleutheros wants to know Dino or Syn?
Bought cheap used metrics when I was starting out, then $12,000 for new fast ones. All became boring. Sold the $12k one for $6k, paid $20k for a new Harley and have never looked back.
