Full Circle

I was changing the oil in my new ride the other day and got to thinking about aging and life in general. Here I was servicing my new to me Honda Silver Wing Scooter. Back in the early sixties I started with scooters, then British bikes, most of the metric bikes, then to Harley's, and now back to Scooters. This story line follows life as we enter the world being dependent, then independent, and then back to dependency if we live long enough. What a ride through life.

Only if you live long enough. I haven't had a Harley for several years now. I traded my last one for an airplane and have mostly been riding at a higher level. The scooter is to use with my motorhome giving me some wheels while at a campsite to make a run for some adult beverages.

I've already explained to my lovely bride. I don't care how old I am, when it gets to where I can't wipe my own ass, shoot me.

I'm just here for the beer.

Ha ha thats funny. One time my back went out and I was stuck in a L shape for a week. My wife said she will wipe my butt if need be.
I said if I have to roll off the toilet and roll into the bathtub I will, but you are not going to wipe my butt.lol.

For some reason, power washing my ass doesn't sound appealing.

I'm just here for the beer.
