Amsoil 15W-60 V Twin Oil Feedback in M8

With the launch of the 15W-60 Motorcycle oil from Amsoil I was intrigued. Though the oil calls out Victory & Indian Approved I could see no reason why it would not offer similar benefits in a Harley, especially one riding in Florida weather.
So, I ordered a case and made the change. Now this of course is not a scientific review and I have not yet done an oil analysis (2000 Miles)
But it has been awesome, I am running it in a m8 107 engine on a Road Glide. It has seen 90's heat as well as 50's cold. I can tell you I NEVER hear any lifter chatter and the engine runs smooth and quiet. I had found the I had the best luck previously running Torco 50W Straight weight in the heat just because it seems to offer the least amount of lifter noise, second I had run 20W-50 Amsoil which has been tried and true for me for years. Never an issue. But I liked the idea of slightly elevated heat tolerance while not sacrificing cold flow. The 15W-60 is doing it for me.

Thanks for the feed back on this new oil. This oil and label is targeted toward the Polaris bikes that you mentioned, but it meets Harley specs, as well as other bikes requiring that viscosity.

Over the last several years many companies have found that using targeted specific labels, makes it easier for the consumer to make an informed decision. For the oil industry in general it has really helped since vehicles today require so many different specs and viscosity's making it easier for the consumer to find the right oil. The quick lubes have it the hardest as they have to stock many different oils now to stay in business.
